How to wear prints for summer

by Guest on October 18, 2013

Prints are everywhere for summer; tropical, geometric, graphic, floral to name a few. But it’s such a tricky look to nail, and you definitely don’t want to go overboard! I’ve put together a few style tips on how to wear prints for summer. Add two of the more popular prints, botanical and floral to your wardrobe for an instant update. Do you dare to wear?

How to wear Botanical prints

Cooper St Mirrored Paradise Pants $109.95 // Camilla & Marc Gypsy Song Top $220 //Siren Ingrid Heel $139.95 // Karl Lagerfield K7 watch $449

To make this trend wearable at work stick to block colour separates & choose one statement piece like these Paradise pants from Cooper St. If the print is more foliage than floral keep accessories to a minimum & keep them edgy. These mesh insert gladiator sandals from Siren keep it just tough enough and instead of jewellery add a masculine watch.  Team with this layered sleeveless top to look and keep cool for summer.

French Connection Jumpsuit $129.95   // Hayley Sandals $139.95 //Wish Destiny Bomber Jacket $129.95 // OPI ‘Kiss me on my tulips’ $19.95

As with botanical prints choose one statement item, like this bomber jacket from Wish. Due to the black and white in the print, keep the rest of your outfit monochrome with this easy one piece jumpsuit from French Connection. Add a leather sandal and add a pop of colour on your toes. You’re good to go!

So ladies are you brave enough to add a little print action to your wardrobe? I hope my style tips helped! Stay tuned for my next article on sorbet shades.
