Confessions of an Entrepreneur

Leaders in Heels has a clear mission – we want to create more female leaders and entrepreneurs.

Confessions of an Entrepreneur is a series of events run by Leaders in Heels that showcases stories of entrepreneurs who have gone through hardships and difficulties of launching and growing their business. Some were wildly successful, while others failed. You’ll get to hear both sides of the story for a change!

Running a business is not easy. We know this. The focus of these events is sharing the juicy tactics that led these entrepreneurs to achieving high growth, raising capital or managing everything that comes with a business… and the tactics that didn’t go so well.

Just as Reddit created fake accounts to boost the perceived amount of activity on their site – leading to its huge success – we want to know all the secrets that these entrepreneurs used to get their business started. As well as the secrets of business ventures that didn’t take off. No fluff!

Each event concludes with a Fish Tank – an open mic opportunity for anyone to do a pitch. Perhaps you’re searching for a business partner, seeking feedback for your ideas, or something else related to the crazy world that is entrepreneurship. The Fish Tank is for all of you!

Both women and men are invited.
